CompTIA certifications
Learn it in class.
Prove it on the exam.
Each CNIT course in the capstone is built around a CompTIA certification. Students study the exam objectives, then apply them on real equipment in the mini data center, so they walk into the exam having done the work, not just read about it.

Why it matters
Credentials employers recognize

CompTIA A+, Network+ and Cloud+ are vendor-neutral certifications that hiring managers use to screen for help desk, network and cloud roles. Together they build from the hardware in a single machine, to the network that connects many, to the services that run on top.
Because CNIT students practice every objective on the same working data center, they leave with both the credential and the stories to back it up in an interview.
CompTIA exams are scheduled and taken separately through CompTIA’s testing provider; completing a course does not by itself award a certification. Ask your instructor about exam preparation and timing.
